Together, we’ll uncover actionable steps for entering the publishing world and celebrate the influential contributions of poets, writers and storytellers from the African and Caribbean diaspora. We will close this session with an open mic takeover seize the microphone during our Open Mic segment, part of the Empower Poetry Takeover.

What if every city went bankrupt, is this an opportunity for civics to imagine a 21st century city that works for all? What could that look like and feel like?
We are coming together to explore the power of civics in times of uncertainty. Is this an opportunity to explore how civics can play a role in shaping the cities we live in.
This will be a safe and playful gathering of people, hearts and minds to explore these big ideas. Come and collaborate our aim is to leave this session with some tangible takeaways.
