In their place, you'll find an abundance of lush trees, their canopies offering shade and clean air. Strategically placed benches invite you to sit, relax, and engage with surroundings and neighbors.

We have been diligently working on expanding the cycle lanes throughout Wolverhampton as a stepping stone in this grand vision. The future plans encompass not only the addition of more trees and benches but a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing the quality of life throughout the entire city.
Together, we can redefine the identity of Wolverhampton.
Community insights update
We've been actively engaging with the community and have received an array of innovative suggestions, ranging from skate parks, outdoor gyms, underground parking to car-sharing programs.
A significant challenge that has been brought to the forefront is safety, with an emphasis on ensuring the wellbeing of children in the area. It’s evident that fostering community cohesion requires further effort and dedication.
At Citizens Unleashed, we're taking dynamic steps to address these concerns. We will be initiating “play streets”, an exciting venture aimed at providing safe spaces for children to play. Additionally, we will delve into the exploration of how reducing vehicular traffic positively impacts air quality. Complementing these efforts, we'll also be hosting bike-fixing workshops as an initiative to promote sustainable transportation.
Through these endeavors, we aspire to demonstrate the multiple co-benefits that arise from a more integrated and environmentally-conscious community. We're motivated by the potential to bring transformative change and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
